Wolves Relegated from Premier League

Wolverhampton Wanderers have been relegated from the Premier League following a goalless draw between West Ham United and Crystal Palace on Monday night.

The stalemate at Selhurst Park proved decisive in the relegation battle, with both teams sharing the points—an outcome that confirmed Wolves as the first side to drop out of the top flight this season.

West Ham missed the chance to move further clear of the relegation zone, as both sides struggled to convert chances in a tightly contested encounter.

Crystal Palace came closest early on when Brennan Johnson headed wide from close range.

The visitors responded with attacking pressure before halftime, with Taty Castellanos attempting an overhead kick that was blocked by Palace defender Maxence Lacroix.

Moments later, goalkeeper Dean Henderson made a crucial save to deny Konstantinos Mavropanos.

The tempo dropped in the second half, with limited clear-cut chances.

A late effort from substitute Ismaila Sarr was ruled out after a VAR review, with Jean-Philippe Mateta adjudged to have handled the ball in the build-up.

Following the result, Palace, managed by Oliver Glasner, remain 13th on the table, five points behind sixth-placed Chelsea.

The outcome leaves Wolves unable to bridge the gap to safety, sealing their relegation with games still to play.
