ADC Unveils Nationwide Executive Structure to Boost Grassroots Participation

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has released a comprehensive list of its party executive structures across the country, in a move aimed at strengthening internal coordination and grassroots participation.

The party announced that the new structure spans all levels of its organisation — from polling units to state chapters — forming what it described as a “multi-layered leadership framework.”

According to the ADC, the framework is designed to improve accountability and ensure more effective management of party affairs ahead of upcoming political activities.

“This development marks a significant step towards strengthening the party’s internal structure, enhancing grassroots participation, and ensuring effective coordination across all levels,” the party said.

Under the new arrangement, the ADC outlined 13 executive positions at the polling unit level, 22 at the ward level, 31 at the local government level, and 33 at the state level.

The party urged members and stakeholders nationwide to study the structure and actively engage in the process, stressing that a well-organised system would translate into stronger electoral performance.

“Together, we continue to build a stronger and more united ADC,” the statement added.

The development comes as the party intensifies preparations for internal congresses and the next election cycle, amid growing interest from political stakeholders.

In recent months, the ADC has witnessed increased visibility following alignments with prominent political figures and shifting alliances within Nigeria’s opposition space.
