Omi Eko Project Names Dr. Segun Alabi as New Media Boss

The Omi Eko Project has appointed Dr. Segun Alabi as its new Head of Communications and Media to help tell the story of Lagos State’s massive new water transport plan.

The Omi Eko Project is a €410 million (about 700 billion Naira) plan to make traveling on Lagos lagoons and rivers easier and faster.

The goal is to reduce the heavy traffic on Lagos roads by using more boats and ferries.

Mr. Oluwadamilola Emmanuel, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Blue Economy, welcomed Dr. Alabi to the team.

He said he is confident in Alabi’s ability to handle the job because he has worked in many different areas, including television, banks, and manufacturing.

“Dr. Alabi is a highly accomplished Corporate Affairs professional with diverse experience,” Mr. Emmanuel said.
