Public Affairs analyst, Jimi Disu has expressed disappointment in the public exchange that took place between Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) in Magodo on Tuesday.
The CSP publicly defied the governor’s order to vacate the scene of a protest by residents because of a lingering land dispute at the Magodo Phase II Estate.
Speaking to Sheriff Quadry on Morning Crossfire on Wednesday, Disu suggested other ways the governor could have approved the police officer considering that he takes his order from the Federal Government.
He also sympathized with the governor, whose limited power over the police was at full display during the incident.
