President Bola Tinubu has withdrawn the nomination of Dr Maryam Shetty as a ministerial nominee from Kano State.
Tinubu's directive is contained in a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Friday's plenary.
According to the letter, Mariya Mahmoud is to replace Dr Shetty as a ministerial nominee.
The President also announced Festus Keyamo SAN as a ministerial nominee.
This addition now takes the total number of Ministerial Nominees to 48.
