Former Lagos State spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Seye Oladejo, has picked the party’s nomination form to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Mushin Constituency II.
Oladejo’s move signals his entry into the race ahead of the next general election, as political activities gather pace within the APC in Lagos State.
The former party spokesperson said his aspiration is driven by a desire to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.
Speaking after obtaining the form, he said his decision was rooted in a commitment to serve the people of Mushin.
“This aspiration is inspired by my enduring commitment to serve our people at a higher level,” he said.
He added that he intends to leverage his experience to make an impact if elected.
His entry into the race has drawn reactions from party members and stakeholders in the constituency, as consultations and alignments continue ahead of the APC primaries.
