JUST IN: Halifield School Wins Third Place Match of "I Beg to Differ" Debate

Halifield Schools, Maryland, Lagos, has secured third place at the second Lagos regional finals of the Season 9 edition of I Beg to Differ debate, defeating Grace High School, Gbagada.

The debate, centred on the motion “Poverty Is A Choice, Not A Circumstance,” saw Halifield Schools score 96 points, narrowly defeating Grace High School, which scored 93 points.

With the win, Halifield Schools takes home a one-million-naira prize and an automatic ticket to the national finals of the competition.

As of the time of this report, the final match was taking place between Square College, Lekki, and Vetland Grammar School, Agege.
