The Labour Party Nigeria has suspended 25 members over alleged anti party activities.
The decision was taken at a National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja.
Party leaders also passed a vote of confidence in Abia State Governor, Alex Otti.
During the meeting, the committee approved guidelines for ward, local government and state congresses, as well as the national convention.
It also reviewed membership revalidation and adopted a hybrid system combining physical and manual processes.
Reports from the party’s peace and disciplinary committees were considered, with some state chairmen suspended for misconduct.
The party says it is also considering amendments to its constitution ahead of the convention.
