The NNPC Ltd’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari has urged African nations to work together to secure the continent’s energy future.
Speaking at the APPO CEOs Forum on Tuesday, Ojulari said Africa must “take ownership of its resources and policies” as European investments in fossil fuels decline.
He highlighted NNPC projects like the AKK Gas Pipeline and Nigeria–Morocco Gas Pipeline, while noting Nigeria has achieved 100% pipeline availability for the first time in 20 years.
Ojulari added that with collaboration, Africa can unlock its full energy potential.
