President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commenced a 10-day working vacation, the Presidency announced on Thursday.
According to a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President departed Abuja on September 4 and will spend his annual leave between France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.
The vacation, which spans 10 working days, follows his recent two-week official trip to Japan and Brazil.
During that trip, Tinubu attended the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) in Yokohama, held bilateral meetings with Japanese investors, and later proceeded to Brasilia on a state visit at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
He had departed Nigeria on August 15, stopping over in Dubai before continuing to Japan.
