Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, popularly known as Vector, says he does not care about streaming numbers as much as he cares about making an impact with his song.
Speaking with the Tekes on Nigeria Info’s midday show WhaatsupLagos, the artist says he is “more interested in getting an email from a psychiatric hospital” on the therapeutic effect of his song on patients. He shares a couple of other stories where fans said his songs helped them through difficult times.
Vector who recently dropped a new single ‘License’ notes that radio still holds significant influence for artists because it is “strong and alive.”
