A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Robinson Ewhor, has maintained that the expulsion of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, at the party’s Ibadan convention remains in full effect.
Speaking on Nigeria Info’s Morning Crossfire, Ewhor said the decision cannot be overturned until the party convenes again in four years. He emphasised that the convention holds the highest authority within the PDP, giving its resolutions the force of finality.
According to him, the party's constitution treats convention decisions as having the same finality as Supreme Court judgments, making them binding on every member, including those at the ward level.
