The People’s Democratic Party, PDP is confident the party will emerge victorious in the forthcoming 2023 presidential elections.
Asserting this position on Nigeria Info Morning Crossfire, the National Spokesperson of the Atiku Campaign Council, Kola Ologbodiyan, said the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar is the only candidate in the race that has the capacity to win four out of the six geopolitical zones in the country.
Ologbodiyan also assured that the party’s reconciliation window is still open for aggrieved members. This is as five aggrieved governors of the PDP, known as the G5, and led by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike continues to call for the resignation of the party’s national chairman, Senator Iyorchia Ayu.
But, Governor Nyesom Wike had in a recent interview said the G5 has now ruled out any chances of reconciling with the national body of the PDP.
The National Spokesperson, Atiku Campaign Council, is optimistic that every member of the party in spite of the internal disagreements will work for the victory of Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 polls.
