“The product NNPC said it was over blended or whatever...How did it come into the Nation? …” -Francis Dimkpa
The Chairman, Petroleum Retail Outlet Owners Association of Nigeria, PETROAN, Rivers State chapter, Mr. Francis Dimkpa, has described as unfortunate the circulation of adulterated fuel in some parts of the country. The development led to long queues at filling stations in some States including the FCT.
Mr. Francis Dimkpa, while reacting to questions on the Morning Crossfire with Enoh Ogbevire wondered how the adulterated product got into the country.
He claimed that the quality control unit of PETROAN had quickly identified the product and swung into action to prevent a spread of the adulterated product in Rivers State.
Mr. Dimkpa however allayed fears of possible petrol scarcity in Rivers State due to the incident.
