Former Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola has criticised the policies of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing them as ineffective.
Speaking at the 8th National Convention of the African Democratic Congress in Abuja, Aregbesola said the party represents a credible alternative for Nigerians.
He argued that recent economic policies have worsened living conditions, pointing to the depreciation of the naira and rising fuel prices.
Aregbesola also raised concerns about electricity supply, saying many areas now experience limited or prolonged outages.
He further accused the ruling party of weakening democratic accountability through certain electoral provisions.
The former minister said the ADC is on a rescue mission to provide new direction for the country.
He urged Nigerians to remain committed to protecting democracy and supporting alternative platforms.
