The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, has announced the 4th of November, 2026, as the start date for the 2026 Batch C Stream II Orientation Course.

The three-week exercise will take place in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, according to a statement issued Friday by the NYSC.

The statement was signed by Caroline Embu, the NYSC director of information and public relations.

“The Management of National Youth Service Corps has approved Wednesday, 4th November 2026 as the commencement date for the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Orientation Course,” the statement said.

The agency said registration of corps members would begin on 4th November and continue until midnight on 6th November.

“The Exercise will be conducted in all the 36 States and the FCT, Abuja,” the NYSC said.

The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 6th November, two days after the orientation exercise begins.

“The Swearing-in Ceremony will take place on Friday 6th November 2026,” the statement said.

The orientation course will end 24th November, when the closing ceremony is scheduled to hold.

“Consequently, the Closing Ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 24th November 2026,” the NYSC said.

The announcement comes as the 2026 Batch C Stream I orientation exercise is underway nationwide, having started on 30th September and scheduled to end on 20th October.

The NYSC has previously advised prospective corps members travelling to orientation camps to avoid night journeys and use designated motor parks.

Prospective corps members for Stream II are expected to follow the dates on their call-up documents and complete the required preparations before reporting to camp.
