A fire has gutted 10 shops at the Arena Market in Bolade, Oshodi, Lagos.
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service said it received a distress call at about 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday and arrived at the scene within five minutes.
Firefighters from Bolade, Ilupeju, Ikeja, and Alausa fought to contain the blaze, which affected 10 container shops used mainly for storing clothing materials.
Officials say the fire was brought under control and did not spread to other parts of the market.
No casualties were recorded.
An investigation into the cause of the fire was ongoing as of the time of this report.
