National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, David Mark, says the party will participate fully in the 2027 general elections despite ongoing legal disputes.
Mark gave the assurance after receiving a briefing from the party’s legal team on a recent ruling by the Federal High Court in Abuja.
He dismissed concerns over the cases, expressing confidence that the party would prevail.
“You do not have anything to be afraid of regarding all the litigations before the party. We shall triumph and be on the ballot for every election,” he said.
Mark added that the party is ready to explore all legal avenues, noting that an appeal has already been filed along with an application for a stay of execution.
The former Senate president also pledged to take an active role in the legal process, insisting the party would overcome the challenges.
The reassurance comes as the ADC intensifies preparations for the 2027 elections, with party leaders aiming to boost confidence among members despite the ongoing court battles.
