Iran’s Supreme Leader has issued a warning to the President of the United States, drawing parallels with historical rulers who lost power due to arrogance.
In a post on X, the Iranian leader compared the US president to figures such as Pharaoh, Nimrod and Iran’s former monarch, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
He wrote that tyrants and arrogant rulers often appear strongest at the height of their power, only to face sudden collapse.
The post concluded with a cautionary note, suggesting that history shows such leaders ultimately fall when consumed by hubris.
The US President who judges arrogantly about the whole world should know that tyrants & arrogant rulers of the world, such as Pharaoh, Nimrod, Mohammad Reza [Pahlavi] & other such rulers saw their downfall when they were at the peak of their hubris. He too will fall.
