Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is in Owo, Ondo State where more than 35 people were killed in a church on Sunday.
Vice President is in the town to deliver President Buhari's condolences and message in person.
The president had earlier released a statement condemned the killings in a statement released on Sunday.
In the statement, he said eternal sorrow awaited the perpetrators both on earth and in the hereafter.

Vice President Osinbajo had encountered an accident in Abuja on his way to the airport en route Ondo State.
His motorcade stopped, and his medical and security teams helped in getting the victim out of the crushed car and to a hospital.

The VP is expected back in Abuja Monday for the All Progressives Congress Special National Convention for Presidential Primary in which he is taking part as an aspirant.
