83 Nigerians Repatriated From South Africa Arrive Lagos

Another batch of 83 Nigerians repatriated from South Africa has arrived in Lagos, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission said.

The returnees, comprising 58 adults and 25 children, arrived aboard South African Airways flight SA060.

They are undergoing biometric clearance under the supervision of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission.

The latest exercise is the first repatriation of distressed Nigerians from South Africa by commercial flight, following seven previous batches transported by chartered aircraft.

NiDCOM is overseeing the processing of the returnees as authorities coordinate their reception and documentation.
