Delegation to be present at court hearing today
The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has sent a delegation to Cotonou, Republic of Benin, to observe court proceedings in the case involving Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho.
Spokesperson for the monarch, Adeola Oloko, made this known in a statement issued on Sunday in Ibadan.
The Oba, who did not disclose the identity of members of the delegation, said they would be in court in Cotonou today to observe Igboho’s trial.
He said the directive became necessary to assure those who had been besieging his palace.
