Kaduna Train Abduction: Military to Release Details of Victims’ Rescue

The military says it will publicise the details of the rescue of the just rescued 23 people kidnapped when a Kaduna-bound train was attacked on 28 March.

The Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami disclosed this on Thursday at the bi-weekly briefing organised by the Defence Headquarters to update Nigerians on the military’s efforts in addressing insecurity.

Major General Danmadami said the military deployed non-kinetic measures to secure the release of the abductees.

He said the forces had also decimated several terror elements in various parts of Nigeria and recoveredweapons and ammunition.

He added that the military was also adopting new strategies that will further strengthen its current efforts in tackling insecurity and criminality nationwide.
