Bruno Fernandes Wins Premier League Player of the Season

Bruno Fernandes has been named the 2025/26 Premier League Player of the Season, capping a standout campaign with Manchester United.

The Portuguese midfielder played a decisive role in United’s season, finishing with 20 assists, equalling the league’s single-season record, alongside eight goals as the club secured a top-three finish and Champions League qualification.

‎Fernandes is also on course to break the Premier League record for most assists in a single season, underlining the scale of his creative influence throughout the campaign.

‎Fernandes topped a competitive shortlist that included names such as Erling Haaland and Declan Rice, highlighting the scale of his achievement.

‎The award adds to an already impressive season for the United captain, who also picked up the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year, reinforcing his influence across the campaign.
