Bruno Fernandes has been named the 2025/26 Premier League Player of the Season, capping a standout campaign with Manchester United.
The Portuguese midfielder played a decisive role in United’s season, finishing with 20 assists, equalling the league’s single-season record, alongside eight goals as the club secured a top-three finish and Champions League qualification.
Fernandes is also on course to break the Premier League record for most assists in a single season, underlining the scale of his creative influence throughout the campaign.
Fernandes topped a competitive shortlist that included names such as Erling Haaland and Declan Rice, highlighting the scale of his achievement.
The award adds to an already impressive season for the United captain, who also picked up the Football Writers’ Association Footballer of the Year, reinforcing his influence across the campaign.
