Premier League Releases Shortlists for Manager, Young Player and Player of the Season Awards

The Premier League on Thursday released its shortlists for the Manager of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Player of the Season awards, highlighting the standout performers and coaches who have shaped the 2025/26 campaign.

In the Manager of the Season category, Keith Andrews, Mikel Arteta, Michael Carrick, Pep Guardiola, Andoni Iraola, and Régis Le Bris, have been shortlisted after impressive campaigns with their respective clubs.

Arteta and Guardiola once again headline the list following another intense battle at the top of the table, while Iraola and Carrick have drawn praise for exceeding expectations. Andrews earns recognition for Brentford’s continued competitiveness, while Le Bris is included following his impact with Sunderland.

The Young Player of the Season category highlights emerging talents who have made significant contributions this season, with nominees including Rayan Cherki, Mateus Fernandes, Lewis Hall, Michael Kayode, Junior Kroupi, Kobbie Mainoo, Nico O’Reilly, and Alex Scott,

In the Player of the Season category, the shortlist features Gabriel Magalhaes, David Raya, Declan Rice, Erling Haaland, Antoine Semenyo, Igor Thiago, Bruno Fernandes, and Morgan Gibbs-White.
