The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has stepped up nationwide operations against terrorists and bandits, carrying out fresh airstrikes in three states.

NAF spokesperson, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, said the strikes took out ISWAP fighters in Mallam Fatori and Shuwaram in Borno State.

The Air Force also destroyed bandit camps in Garin Dandi and Chigogo in Kwara State, and at Zango Hill in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Ejodame said the missions were part of ongoing operations under Operation Hadin Kai and Operation Fagge Fan San Yamma.

He described the strikes as a major push to weaken terrorist and criminal groups across the North.

The renewed pressure follows directives from the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke.

According to NAF, the missions show its commitment to using intelligence-driven air power to protect civilians and strengthen national security.
