Former Bauchi Deputy Governor Audu Sule-Katagum Dies at 69

Former Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, Audu Sule-Katagum, has died at the age of 69.

His death was announced on Saturday by his former Digital and Creative Media Aide, Shamsuddeen Lukman Abubakar, who said the former deputy governor passed away in the early hours of the day.

In a statement, Lukman described Sule-Katagum as a dedicated public servant who contributed significantly to his community, Bauchi State and the nation.

Sule-Katagum served as Chief of Staff at the Bauchi State Government House before he was appointed deputy governor.

He held the office of deputy governor from 2018 to 2019 during the administration of former Governor Mohammed Abubakar.

The late politician, who also held the traditional title of Wazirin Katagum, has been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
