Iranian leaders say the country remains stable despite the ongoing war with the United States and Israel, while also warning that American military bases in the Middle East are putting the region at risk.

The Speaker of Iran’s parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said the conflict shows that the presence of U.S. forces in the region is dangerous.

In a post on social media platform X, Ghalibaf said U.S. bases in the Middle East “do not protect anyone – they are a threat.”

He accused Washington of putting Israel’s interests ahead of other countries in the region.

“The US sacrifices everyone for Israel and does not care about anyone but Israel,” he wrote.

Ghalibaf also claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump had been misled by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into supporting the war against Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said the country continues to function normally despite the conflict.

In a message shared online, Pezeshkian said government services are still operating even after more than two weeks of fighting.

“Fifteen days have passed since the imposed and unjust war, and despite the transportation, communication, and other challenges, thanks to our colleagues in the government, no serious disruption in service delivery to the people has occurred,” he said.

Pezeshkian also praised the resilience of the Iranian people.

“With the companionship of you, noble people of Iran, we will overcome these conditions and rebuild everything they have destroyed even better than before,” he said.

The war between Iran, Israel, and the United States has raised tensions across the Middle East, with concerns that the conflict could spread to other parts of the region.
