The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened registration for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), running from January 26 to February 28 nationwide.

Registrar Prof. Is-haq Oloyede urged candidates to register only at approved CBT centres or JAMB offices and fix any biodata errors with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) before registering, as only NIMC data will be accepted.

E-PIN sales began January 19 and end February 26.

Direct Entry registration opens March 2 to April 25, available at zonal and state offices.

Fees range from N5,700 to N8,700 depending on the category. The exam will take place from April 16 to 25, with an optional mock test on March 28.

JAMB warned CBT centres against fraud, extortion, and overcharging, threatening licence revocation and prosecution for offenders. Centre operators are also held liable for staff misconduct.
