Major General Mijinyawa Charges Newly Promoted Officers to Lead by Example

General Officer Commanding 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Farouk Mijinyawa, has urged newly promoted Army Warrant Officers and Master Warrant Officers to demonstrate exemplary leadership and uphold the highest standards of discipline.

At a ceremony in Victoria Island, Lagos, Mijinyawa praised the officers’ dedication and thanked the Chief of Army Staff for approving numerous promotions, including 2 MWOs to AWOs and 32 WOs to MWOs.

He stressed their new roles carry greater responsibility and called on them to mentor junior soldiers and build lasting legacies.

AWO Aminu Yunusa, speaking for the group, promised continued hard work and loyalty.

The event was attended by senior officers, families, and well-wishers.
