Professor Is-haq Oloyede has handed over as Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, ending his 10-year tenure at the examination body.
Oloyede transferred leadership to Professor Segun Aina on Friday following his appointment by President Bola Tinubu as his successor.
The Presidency said Aina, a Professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has expertise in digital infrastructure, examination systems and institutional reforms.
Aina holds degrees in Computer Systems Engineering, Internet Computing and Network Security, and Digital Signal Processing from universities in the United Kingdom.
The Presidency said the new registrar has over 15 years of experience advising governments and examination bodies on digital transformation and systems design.
Tinubu expressed confidence that Aina would build on the reforms and achievements recorded under Oloyede’s leadership.
