The Lagos State Police Command has named Superintendent of Police (SP) Abimbola Adebisi as its new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).
Adebisi takes over from Acting PPRO Babaseyi Oluseyi, who stepped into the role earlier this month following the elevation of former spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin to Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) on September 4.
The command said Adebisi’s appointment is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen communication with the public and enhance transparency in its operations.
As PPRO, she will be responsible for managing media relations, issuing official statements, and serving as the primary liaison between the police command and the public.
The Lagos Police Command thanked Oluseyi for holding the fort in an acting capacity and pledged continued cooperation with the media under Adebisi’s leadership.
