Israel has launched an airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburb of Dahiyeh, targeting what it says was a Hezbollah operative.
The attack happened on Sunday and marks another violation of the ceasefire Israel and Hezbollah signed one year ago to end their last war.
Israel has carried out near-daily strikes on southern Lebanon in recent months and has hit parts of Beirut several times, raising fresh fears about the collapse of the fragile truce.
