Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has cancelled two upcoming shows on his No Sign of Weakness US tour, including a major performance scheduled for Nov. 28, 2025 at The Armory in Minneapolis.
A second concert, set for Dec. 1, 2025 in Chicago, has also been called off. Ticketmaster confirmed the cancellations on Thursday, and a check on the link Burna Boy posted on Instagram showed both dates marked as cancelled, with refunds promised to fans who had already purchased tickets.
The move follows public backlash after video footage showed Burna Boy ejecting a couple from the front row during a recent Colorado concert. The pair were reportedly removed for falling asleep during the performance.
The incident triggered widespread debate online. Burna Boy later addressed it in an Instagram Live session, saying he only wanted “supporters who buy my tickets,” a remark that sparked further criticism.
Reports later revealed that the woman involved had been grieving a personal loss, which increased public sympathy and intensified reactions on social media.
Burna Boy confirmed the cancellations in the early hours of Friday via his Instagram Story. Neither the artiste nor his management has issued an official statement explaining the cancellations or addressing the controversy.
