The Catholic Diocese of Kontagora has released a document containing the names of 265 students and teachers abducted from St Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools in Papiri, Niger State.
The list includes 12 teachers, 14 secondary school students, and 239 primary school students.
The Diocese had earlier condemned the midnight attack, in which armed men stormed the school, shot a security guard, and abducted members of the school community.
Security agencies and local authorities are continuing efforts to locate and rescue those still missing.
