The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, on Thursday officially unveiled the new Nigerian Army Properties Limited (NAPL) Corporate Headquarters in Asokoro, Abuja.
The event highlighted his commitment to robust administration and the holistic development of Nigerian Army personnel.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Shaibu emphasized NAPL’s vital role in supporting his command philosophy: “Transforming the Nigerian Army into a more professional, adaptable, combat-ready, and resilient force.”
He praised NAPL’s contributions to personnel welfare and noted the new headquarters as a symbol of the company’s growth and strategic importance.

He expressed gratitude to key figures, including Chairman NAPL Lt. Gen. Lamidi Adeosun (Rtd), former Chiefs of Army Staff, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for their unwavering support to the Nigerian Army.
Brigadier General Isa Doma (Rtd), Group Managing Director of NAPL, said the new facility enhances operational capacity, staff welfare, and service delivery.
The state-of-the-art complex includes a guest house, car park, worship centre, conference room, and advanced internet infrastructure.
The commissioning was attended by former COAS Lt. Gens. Tukur Yusuf Buratai (Rtd) and Faruk Yahaya (Rtd), senior Army officers, and other dignitaries.

The unveiling underscores the Nigerian Army’s focus on personnel wellbeing and operational excellence as part of ongoing reforms.
