CWIA’s Okon, Alade Earn Master’s Degrees at UNILAG

Two media professionals with CWIA Media Group have earned postgraduate degrees at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) convocation ceremonies.

Nnenna Okon of Nigeria Info and Oyinade Alade of Wazobia FM were among graduands receiving higher degrees during the exercise, marking a key academic milestone in their professional careers.

Nnenna, a reporter with Nigeria Info, holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Strategic Studies.

At this year’s convocation, she was awarded a Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs.

Also honoured at the ceremony was Oyinade Alade of Wazobia FM, who completed a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration and Planning.

She previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration.

The University of Lagos convocation ceremony took place this week, with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees being conferred across various faculties.

Colleagues at CWIA Media Group have congratulated the duo, describing their academic achievements as a boost to professional development within the broadcast media industry.
