The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has adjusted the final assessment date for underage candidates who sat the 2025 UTME, citing delays by several universities in submitting their Post-UTME screening scores.

In a statement signed by its Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB explained that the shift became necessary after noting that 23 out of 71 universities chosen by the affected candidates failed to submit scores before the September 15 deadline.

This development comes even after the National Examinations Council (NECO) released the 2025 SSCE results on September 17.
