The Lagos State Police Command says the Physical and Credential Screening Exercise for successful applicants in the 2025 2026 Nigeria Police Force recruitment will begin on Monday March 9 2026.

The exercise will run until Saturday April 18 at the Police College Ikeja.

Screening for both General Duty and Specialist Police Constables will take place daily from 7:00 a.m.

Applicants, especially Lagos State indigenes, are required to appear in a clean white T shirt and white shorts.

Candidates must present their invitation slip, credential screening form, National Identity Number printout or NIMC card, O Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, and LGA or State of Origin certificate.

Specialist applicants are also required to provide relevant trade test certificates.

All applicants must submit completed guarantors forms alongside photocopies and passport photographs of referees, as well as original and duplicate copies of credentials arranged in two white flat files.

The command warned that candidates who fail to provide the required documents will not be screened.

It also reiterated that the recruitment process is free and merit based, cautioning the public against paying money to anyone in connection with the exercise.

The announcement was signed by SP Abimbola Adebisi on March 5 2026.
