The Delta State Police Command says a community head and four others have been arrested over the incident in Ozoro.
Police spokesperson, Bright Edafe, identified the suspect as Chief Omorede Sunday, said to be the chief organiser of the event.
The suspects, all from Oramudu Quarters in Ozoro, have been taken into custody.
According to the police, the Commissioner of Police has ordered their immediate transfer to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
The command also assured that all those involved in the incident will be tracked down and brought to justice.
