The corpse of a young lady has been brought out of the debris of the three-storey building that collapsed in Ebute Metta, Lagos on Sunday, bringing the death toll to 10.
It was brought out at about 4:15 pm local time.
She was a young graduate undergoing her mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in Lagos State.
No fewer than 23 persons have been rescued since emergency agencies arrives at the scene of the collapse.
The building had been marked for demolition by the Lagos State government and the occupants were given a quit notice.
There had been a disagreement over the notice between the tenants and the property owners, and the building was fully occupied when it caved in.
