The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will run from January 26 to February 28 at approved CBT centres nationwide.
JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, announced the dates at a meeting with state education commissioners in Lagos. He said sales of UTME e-PINs will begin earlier, from January 19 to February 26, while candidates opting for the mock exam must indicate interest by February 16.
Direct Entry e-PIN sales will run from March 2 to April 25. Oloyede added that underage candidates’ results will only be released after evaluation, and warned CBT centres that all registrations will be monitored live, with sanctions for violations.
He stressed that candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, to qualify for admission, though exceptional younger candidates may be considered after assessment.
