As the FCT marks 50 years of existence, FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has disclosed that President Bola Tinubu’s administration has massively transformed the landscape of the Federal Capital Territory in less than three years.
Wike, who made the declaration on Tuesday after an extensive inspection of ongoing infrastructure projects across the territory, noted that his administration's infrastructure drive is more than just a celebration.
The Minister who visited several construction sites, including ongoing road construction sites at Gishiri and Apo-Wassa-Karshi roads, expressed high satisfaction with the pace of the work.
He disclosed that the ongoing new road networks are slated for inauguration during President Bola Tinubu's third year of administration this year.

While addressing the recent industrial action by the Joint Unions Action Committee, Wike dismissed claims of a setback, adding that there is no winner or loser at the end of the day, as the action is about the interests of the FCT and its continued progress.
He, however, noted that union leadership had seen the reality of the progress firsthand, clearing up misconceptions.
Wike confirmed that conditions are now optimal for workers to return to their posts.
"I am quite impressed by this initiative. We are handling three major jobs.
"These are expected to be completed, I hope, by August, while the work in the OSEX area will be delivered as part of the third anniversary.
"Over the past three years—and this isn’t merely a Golden Jubilee celebration—the President’s tenure has changed the landscape of the FCT," the minister remarked, adding that all works strictly adhere to the Abuja Master Plan.
