Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, is threatening to reveal details of a confidential agreement he says was reached with Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
Wike issued the warning in Eleme, Rivers State, saying the public deserves to know the truth if the governor continues to remain silent about the pact brokered by President Bola Tinubu.
According to him, the agreement was designed to calm the political crisis in the state, but Fubara has failed to acknowledge key parts of it. Wike insists that if the governor doesn’t speak up, he will.
He also claimed his support for the Tinubu administration has brought benefits to Rivers people at the federal level, contrasting that with what he described as instability in the state.
Wike told supporters to brace for 2027, warning political outsiders to stay away from Rivers affairs. Governor Fubara has not yet responded to the latest threat.
