Buhari Set To Commission Second Niger Bridge, Others

President Muhammadu Buhari will today commission the 2nd Niger Bridge and six other legacy projects completed by the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing across the country.

The bridge will be officially opened to motorists on Tuesday, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, has revealed

On the same occasion, he will also inaugurate the Loko-Oweto Bridge connecting Benue to Nasarawa State, the Ikom Bridge in Cross River State, a completed section of the Kano-Kaduna Dual Carriage Expressway, and three new Federal Secretariats.

Among the Federal Secretariats to be commissioned is the one in Awka, Anambra State, situated on a vast 5.106-hectare land.

The meticulously designed Secretariat boasts numerous office spaces, conference halls, committee rooms, exhibition halls, and essential facilities such as banking services, post office, and reception areas. With well-planned parking spaces, lift facilities, fire hydrants, and more, it sets a high standard for a conducive work environment.

The Federal Secretariat in Gusau, Zamfara State, located in Unguwan Dan Lawan off Sokoto By-Pass Road, and the Federal Secretariat Yenagoa in Bayelsa State, situated on Alamieyeseigha Road, will also be inaugurated.

This momentous event showcases President Buhari's unwavering dedication to improving Nigeria's infrastructure and marks a significant milestone in his tenure. It represents a leap forward in enhancing connectivity, fostering economic growth, and enhancing the overall development of the country.
