Lagos governor, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu is set to present the Year 2022 Appropriation Bill before members of the State House of Assembly.
The budget presentation was initially scheduled for November 17 but was rescheduled to today (Wednesday)
The budget presentation is expected to kick off by 11.am, at the state Assembly Complex, Alausa, Ikeja, with members of the state executive council in attendance.
Meanwhile, just recently, the Lagos State Government disclosed that it would need the sum of $15 billion for infrastructural development in the state for the next 5 years.
The governor says the reason is because of the rising population in Nigeria’s economic capital.
Last Thursday at the third Lagos Investors’ Roundtable, Governor Sanwo-Olu revealed that the amount would be 5 times the current state budget of $3 billion.
