The Edo office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says 661,783 old and new Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) were yet to be collected in the state as of 31 December 2022.
This is contained in the PVC daily report analysis made released on Monday by the office’s Head of Voter Education and Publicity, Timidi Wariowie.
Wariowei said 409,832 were old uncollected PVCs while 251,951 were new ones.
“The old uncollected PVCs were 425,239 but 15,407 had been collected, remaining the balance of 409,832,” he reported.
“Also, the new PVCs received were 289,931 but 37,980 had been collected, remaining the balance of 251,95.”
Wariowei pointed out that INEC offices in Edo State are open every day, including Saturdays and Sundays, for PVC collection.
