The African Democratic Congress has expelled factional chairman Nafiu Bala and lawmaker Leke Abejide over alleged anti party activities.
The decision was announced at the party’s national convention in Abuja, led by David Mark.
Other affected members include Kingsley Temitope, Norman Obinna, Kennedy Odion and Stella Chukwuma.
The motion for their expulsion was moved by Binos Yaroe and seconded by Abdussamad Dasuki.
The crisis deepened after the Independent National Electoral Commission removed some party leaders, including Mark and Rauf Aregbesola, from its register following a court order.
The dispute dates back to the leadership tussle involving former chairman Ralph Nwosu.
The party is now split into factions led by Mark, Bala and Dumebi Kachikwu, raising concerns ahead of the 2027 elections.
