Buhari Arrives in Lagos for Inauguration of Projects

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Lagos on a two-day visit for the "Lagos Festival of Projects" inauguration.

The projects include the:

  • Lagos Rice Mill, Imota
  • 18.75-kilometer Eleko-Epe Rigid Pavement six Lane Expressway
  • Blue Light Rail from Mile Two to Marina
  • Fully completed Lekki Deep Sea Port
  • John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History
  • MRS Lubricant, Apapa.

The President arrived at 3:33 pm and was received at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Ikeja by Governor Babajide Sanwoolu; his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat; and other executive council members.

The president will first inaugurate the Lekki Deep Sea Port before heading to Ikorodu for the Imota Rice Mill, and then inspect the work at Eleko-Epe Rigid Pavement six Lane Expressway.
