The Defence Headquarters says it has intensified efforts to rescue the 39 students and seven teachers abducted in Ahoro Esinle community in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
Director of Defence Media Operations, Michael Onoja, disclosed this during a briefing on ongoing military operations across the country.
According to the military, troops also recorded major successes in the last 30 days of operations nationwide.
The Armed Forces said 317 terrorists were killed, 314 suspects arrested and 221 kidnapped victims rescued during various operations.
The military added that several criminal camps were destroyed, while weapons and ammunition were recovered from different parts of the country.
